Come and See is a group experience for Christian women desiring deep personal growth and connection with Jesus.
Using the POWERFUL ancient, Christian practice of imaginative contemplation, we meditate on 1-2 Scripture passages each month letting God meet us in our contemplation and shine a light on what God wants to show us. (And if you're a member of Dr. Edie Wadsworth's Life Mentoring School program, know that all passages align with monthly themes in LMS). The practice of imaginative contemplation allows us to experience the story of Scripture as if we were in the shoes of the characters we read about. Don’t worry if you’re new to imaginative contemplation of Scripture or prayer; helpful resources and guides are provided and questions are welcome! There's a reason we call this a spiritual "practice"!
We have two opportunities to gather virtually each month to share what God is teaching us and pray for each other. Attending gatherings is optional, but encouraged, as we often learn as much from each other's experiences as our own. Sessions are recorded.
This program is self-paced, providing the structure you need for greater depth without adding too much to your calendar. Come and See encourages you in practices involving Scripture and prayer that are designed to enhance your faith journey and your participation in other programs as well.
